Sanctioned Countries

The following lists provide information on countries with designated sanctions. Any travel, shipments, or research engagement with entities located in one of these sanctioned countries or individuals who are located within or are citizens of these countries should be discussed with the executive sponsor of the travel.

The countries listed below are subject to either comprehensive sanctions or targeted sanctions. Comprehensive sanctions prohibit virtually ALL exports/imports and other transactions without a license or other US Government authorization. Targeted sanctions are prohibitions on trade in specified goods, technologies, and services with specific organizations (including foreign governments) and persons.

Countries Subject to Prohibition on Military or Technical Data Exports

The United States Department of State prohibits the export of military / space equipment or technical data to the following countries, and to nationals of these countries:

· Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast)
