Computer Vendors

There are five vendors that we typically use for computer purchases: Dell, Apple, Lenovo, US Micro, and CTL. For more information on which vendor may be most useful for you, press the + icon.
  • Dell PC Desktops & Laptops (Primary PC Vendor)


    Dell is the primary PC vendor due to its ease of management and the features they provide. 

    Standard Specifications

    • Intel Core Ultra 5 335 processor (or Core Ultra 235 for select models).
    • 16 GB of Random Access Memory (RAM), 2x8GB, 2800 MHz, DDR5.
    • 512 GB NVMe SSD

    Standard Upgrade Options:

    • Upgrade to 32 GB of RAM, 2x16 GB, 2800 MHz DDR5.
    • Upgrade to 1 TB NVMe

    Power User Specifications

    • Intel Core Ultra 7 265 Processor
    • 32 GB RAM (2x16 GB) 2800 MHz DDR5
    • 512 GB NVMe SSD or 1 TB NVMe SSD

  • Apple Mac Desktops & Laptops (Primary Vendor)

    Regarding Apple, Computer Support Services began having the ability to order directly from Apple for administrative purposes in January 2026.

  • Lenovo PC Desktops & PC Laptops

    Lenovo is an alternative PC vendor that is often used for its Lenovo Tiny models for digital signage.

  • CTL & US Micro PC Desktops
    US Micro & CTL are often used for special machine configurations that allow the addition of consumer discrete GPUs, such as an Nvidia RTX 5070.
