CSS technicians provide a second level of support in conjunction with Service Desk technicians for a coordinated delivery of service.

Computer Support Services supports the mission of CWU by providing technical assistance to Faculty/Staff and Student computer users. Support includes desktop computing, software, printing, computer labs, and hardware purchasing and disposal.

CSS provides services including, but not limited to:

  • New hardware purchase inquiries
  • CWU-owned hardware warranty and out-of-warranty support
  • Computer systems imaging and delivery
  • New equipment processing and asset management
  • Software installation and assistance
  • Computer lab management
  • Network and local printer support
  • Distribution of CWU site-licensed software.

Our technicians also assist customers with data transfer from old to new computers when new equipment is installed.
