Special Response Team (SRT)
The Special Response Team is a coalition of local law enforcement agencies geared towards community protection in extreme situations. The Mission of the Special Response Team (SRT) is to support the extraordinary enforcement needs of Law Enforcement, including, but not limited to:
- High risk arrest warrant service
- High risk search warrant service
- Sniper situations
- Civil disturbance
- Barricaded subject situations
- Hostage situations
- Occurances requiring a law enforcement response beyond the capabilities or expectations of patrol staff alone.
The objective of the Special Response Team is the resolutions of high risk/crisis situations while minimizing potential injury or loss of life.
