There are two main sources of institutional scholarships for CWU students:

• The General Scholarship Application (GSA)
• Departmentally-Awarded Scholarships

The GSA is available online every year from October 1st to March 1st through your student Safari account. When you complete this single application, you are applying for dozens of scholarships that are awarded exclusively to CWU students. Some of the GSA scholarships will require you to submit supplemental materials. Carefully read the description of each scholarship for information on what you need to submit in addition to your online application.

Departmentally-awarded scholarships are typically awarded to students who have a declared major.  Deadlines for departmental scholarships will vary.  Contact your academic department for information on their scholarships or browse the CWU Departmental Scholarships listing.
