Highlights

In 1891, Washington State Normal School opened to educate future elementary and junior high teachers. In 1977, Central cast off its college title, adding graduate programs to its catalog, and became Central Washington University.

“Together, we can make CEPS the college of choice rooted in a culture of active care, respect, trust, inclusion, positivity, collaboration, excellence, and innovation.” Sathyanarayanan Rajendran is the Dean of the College of Education and Professional Studies.
