Phi Alpha Theta
The History Club also coordinates participation in the yearly Phi Alpha Theta regional conference, by raising funds, recruiting students, and promoting the event.
Phi Alpha Theta is a History honor society that encourages the study of history and the participation of Central Washington students in the creation and presentation of original historical research. We strive to support the development of a great understanding of the historical field and an appreciation of historical perspectives to interpretations of the past. Phi Alpha Theta promotes collaboration, scholarly discussion, and debate to further current trends in the field and to prepare students for careers in History.
