About the Japanese Minor

The Japanese Minor is a flexible and enriching program designed to complement a wide range of major fields of study. In our program, we encourage you to immerse yourself in the Japanese language and culture, fostering a deep appreciation for the diversity and richness of Japan's societal and historical landscape. At the center of the Japanese program at CWU is a community passionate about all Japan has to offer, from anime and manga to Mount Fuji and okonomiyaki—if this is a community that speaks to you, we welcome you.
