Our General Biology Specialization prepares you for a variety of careers.

• Conservation and Environmental Science: Work in conservation organizations, government agencies, or environmental consulting firms, developing and implementing strategies for environmental management, biodiversity conservation, or ecosystem restoration.
• Science Communication: Check out science journalism, science writing, or science policy, communicating complex scientific concepts to the public.
• Science Education: Students with a Biology BS can seek teaching certification and endorsement through the STEM Teaching Program.
