Why Study Dance Performance at CWU?

The Dance program is built on a strong sense of community and collaboration. You will work closely with your peers and faculty to develop performance skills.

You will have the opportunity to perform throughout the year, gaining valuable experience and exposure in front of audiences. Our performance season includes a variety of productions, including mainstage productions, student choreography showcases, and community outreach performances.

“If you’re going to dance, you need really an audience to perform for,” Therese Young is the previous director of the Dance Program at CWU.
