Summer Short Term Lodging
Experience Summer at Central!
Each summer, Central Washington University welcomes students to campus who are participating in masters programs or other continuing education opportunities. Conference Services offers limited on-campus housing for students who are taking CWU classes during the summer, but are not academic year students at CWU, offering the convenience of living on campus while taking classes, with the flexibility of being able to select check in and check out dates on your own terms.
Accommodations for 2024 are expected in Barto Hall. Barto is centrally located on campus, close to the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) with air-conditioned rooms, two single beds per room, shared bathrooms down the hall, mini fridge/microwave, and wireless internet. Bedding and towels are provided and exchange service is once per week.
Lodging rates are based on double occupancy with discounted rates for consecutive stays of 7 nights - 29 nights, and 30 nights or more. Single rooms are not offered at any weekly or monthly discounts.
Reservations are required, and rooms are on a first come, first serve basis. Please complete your online reservation using the options below. You will be contacted if your requested lodging space is not available. Telephone reservations will not be accepted.
Financial Aid Notice - Your financial aid or student account is not an accepted method of payment. All charges must be paid directly and in advance to CWU Conference Services by check or credit card.
Registration information for Summer 2024 will be posted in Spring Quarter 2024.
Cancelation Policy
Cancellation of your reservation requires written notification 72 hours prior to your arrival date. Cancellations by phone MUST be followed by notice in writing. All payments will be forfeited if reservation is not cancelled in time. If a cancellation notice is received in accordance with the requirement, all payments (for lodging) less the $75 non-refundable deposit will be returned. No refund will be allowed for unused lodging after check in. We accept Discover, Visa, Master Card, and checks.
MealsMeals are not included in the rates. Please contact CWU Dining Services and the Connection Card Office if you wish to eat on campus. Check the Dining Services Website for summer dining hours or call (509) 963-1591.
InternetWhile the CWU campus is equipped with Wi-Fi, CWU Conference Services does not provide or manage internet access in Barto Hall, nor do we guarantee internet access as part of the lodging package. Please contact the IS Service Desk at (509) 963-2001 for questions concerning internet and Wi-Fi connectivity.
