Art Selection and Permanent Collection Committee
Considers and recommends the purchase of art for campus. Work with the Washington State Arts Commission to update and recommend procedures for the university's permanent art.

Athletic Compliance Committee

Establishes institutional policies and procedures that ensures institutional compliance with NCAA bylaws. Reviews and recommends actions related to student- athlete petitions for NCAA academic waivers and discusses matters of concern to student-athletes.

Enterprise Facilities Committee
The committee reports to the cabinet through the Senior Vice President of Finance and administration.

The purpose of the committee is to establish and maintain an effective governance structure that links university facilities related decision-making to the ongoing strategic planning process of CWU and to ensure that enterprise facilities decisions are appropriately considered, planned, and communicated to the campus community.

The committee will translate the mission and values of CWU into goals, strategies, initiatives, and projects. This committee will make recommendations for both short and long-term decision-making by the cabinet and/or BOT, thus enabling the cabinet to make effective choices among competing demands for capital investment, infrastructure support, programmatic support, information systems, technology, and human resources.

Equal Opportunity Committee
Regularly identify and review areas that may impact equal opportunity such as university waivers or promotion and tenure. Helps with policy development, affirmative action plans and processes, and equal opportunity.

Ethics Advisory Committee
Review and/or recommend university policies and guidelines that define ethical principles for conduct within the university. Encourage dialog to educate, identify issues, offer viable options, seek supplemental resources, and encourage resolution.

Inclusivity/Diversity Committee
Implement current and future inclusiveness and diversity action plans and annually evaluate specific plans for achieving university short and long term efforts. Support the university community in engaging and celebrating diversity. Be a resource and participate in university strategic planning.

Academic Technology Advisory Council (ATAC)
Advises the Enterprise Information Systems Committee. Recommends policies, procedures, and projects related to the support of instructional academic technologies.

Accessibility & Disability Action Planning Team (ADAPT)
Educate the entire university community regarding policies and processes for meeting the needs of persons with disabilities in university programs and services to create a continuous environmental scan of accessibility enterprise-wide by using self-examination tools.

Board of Acad Appeals & Acad Standing Council
The Board serves as the final hearing body for the university in the matter of academic grievances. The Board may direct the university to change an academic decision affecting the student.

Business Technology Advisory Council (BTAC)
Making low to mid-level decisions regarding non- enterprise technology needs/requests and communicating those decisions as appropriate. BTAC will also review the prioritization of business and financial technology projects and recommend changes as appropriate.

Curriculum Committee (Fac Senate sub committee)
Shall be concerned with the study, development, and improvement of the curriculum, educational programs, and academic policy at the university. Shall review and recommend changes to academic policy. Shall perform other duties as may be requested by or approved by the Senate Executive Committee

Evaluation & Assessment Committee (Fac Senate Sup Cmte)
Shall be concerned with assessment tools affecting faculty or requiring faculty input. Shall receive, review, initiate, and make recommendations or proposals for assessment tools.

General Education Committee (Fac Senate Sub Cmte)
Sub committee of faculty senate. Helps prepare graduates to become responsible citizens, to explore and understand the natural world. Helps graduates become independent learners toward the end of leading enlightened and productive lives.

Health & Safety Council
Assist the Environmental Health and Safety Manager in the development of university-wide safety and health policies and procedures. Identifies unsafe conditions and practices. Communicates and evaluates safety and health issues.

International Studies & Programs Advisory Council
Recommends to the Executive Director of International & Studies Programs to matters regarding International Students and Scholars, U.S. Students, Staff, and Faculty Abroad. Linkages and Partnerships to Foreign Institutes of Higher Education

Library Advisory Council
The Library Advisory Council shall advise the Dean on the development of library collections, policies, and services. The Council will develop and adopt operational guidelines that will direct the Council's work into the future.

Service & Activities Council
Oversees departments funded by students and ensures proper funding for those areas. The services and activities fee committee oversees a supplemental funding budget of around $300,000 per academic year.

Student Tech Fee Council
Students pay a quarterly technology fee, this committee is is the governing body of the money collected and tech initiatives. This money is used for technology advancement across campus for student use, and is meant to make all tech more accessible!

Recreation Advisory Board

Student Union Advisory Board
The Student Union Advisory Board oversees the SURC, allows exceptions, and sponsorships.
Votes on fee increases to the SURC fee and serves as the student body that mandates the Student Union fee.

Housing & Dining Advisory Board
Bringing together the student body and the housing and dining officials on campus, to provide student perspective and insight. The members of the committee are consulted for policies, products and services that benefit the campus community.

Wildcat Shop Advisory Board
Gives input to the Wildcat Shop regarding changes to products, policy and services that will benefit the students and general university community. Looks for ways to save students money while enhancing the wildcat shop to provide better services.

Election Commission
The Election Commission implements all verification of voter registration, and works to promote the election process to the student body. The committee attends the forums and debates during the election, counts the votes on election days, and acts as the liaison between candidates and the student body.

Council on Probity
The Council of Probity is made up of CWU students whose responsibilities are to oversee the activities of ASCWU. In the instance of when there are misconducts, the Council is set to investigate ASCWU and the relevant offices.

Political Actions Committee for Students (PACS)
The Student Legislative Action Committee assists the office of Legislative Affairs in creating a legislative agenda and policy making. Advises the student lobbyist, oversees the student lobbyist, and assists with matters relating to the legislature in general.
