Where Are We Located?
In Brooks Library! Once you enter the Library, take your first left (when facing the front reception) and you will see a spacious area featuring study spaces and ample monitors. Our staff will greet you as you come in! The Learning Commons will be open for virtual tutoring and in-person tutoring.
How Can I Make An Appointment?
- Call us at (509) 963-1270 or email us at learningcommons@cwu.edu. Our Office Assistants will make the appointments for you!
- No appointment is needed to attend a PALs session.
- eTutoring sessions are held in Zoom for you to join, no appointment or cancellation is necessary.
How Can I Contact The Learning Commons?
Yes, you may call our regular number at 509-963-1270 and leave a voicemail! We will call you back within one business day. You may also email us at learningcommons@cwu.edu with your phone number if you want a callback.
What About Online Tutoring?
Our trained and certified CWU tutors and peer mentors can host online sessions. Schedule a virtual appointment with us by emailing tutoring@cwu.edu. Additionally, CWU is a member of the Northwest eTutoring Consortium, and all member institutions in the region provide certified tutors.
Requirements:
- Internet-enabled device (laptop or tablet).
- Webcam and audio.
- Download the free Zoom app for CWU students.
- Windows or Macintosh operating system.
