Writing Distance Consultations
CWU Writing services offer remote consultations via Zoom or recorded screencast. Book a Zoom consultation or request asynchronous feedback. If you have questions, you can always call us at 509-963-1270 or email us at learningcommons@cwu.edu.
Zoom Consultations
You can book a Zoom consultation through Inspire and have a live video or audio conversation with a CWU writing tutor. Most similar to a face-to-face conversation in the Writing Center, this method gives you immediate feedback with the ability to screen share, clarify ideas, and ask questions as they arise.
Screencast Feedback (up to three business days wait time)
You can send us your draft, and within three business days, we will reply with written comments on your draft and/or a video with auditory explanation of these comments (your choice!). To submit a screencast request, please use this form.
