2020 Virtual Ceremony
CWU will hold a virtual Commencement ceremony on Saturday, June 13th at 9:00am featuring remarks from President Gaudino, the Faculty Senate Chair, Dr. Walter Szeliga and Student Body President, Jasmin Washington. This ceremony will be posted here on the Commencement website and will include all graduating seniors’ names in an interactive display.

Virtual Commencement FAQs
If I can’t watch the virtual ceremony on 6/13, will I be able to see it later?
Yes. The virtual ceremony will be posted to the commencement website on Saturday, June 13th at 9:00am and will remain up until September 1st, 2020.
If I participate in the virtual ceremony, can I still come back and walk in 2021?
Absolutely! We highly encourage all 2020 grads to join us in-person in 2021.
Do I need to register for the virtual ceremony?
No registration is required for the virtual event. All eligible graduates have been automatically included.
How do I edit my name slide to add a photo or congratulatory message?
Your name slide will be posted in conjunction with the virtual ceremony on June 13th. You will be able to upload your photo and congratulatory message using the index bar below the video.
How do my family and friends watch the ceremony?
Friends and family will be able to access the ceremony just like you! This page (www.cwu.edu/commencement) will house the virtual ceremony beginning on 6/13. The ceremony is open to all.
I have questions about honors, who should I contact?
Student honors are overseen by the Office of the Registrar. Honors come in the form of a tassel and will be mailed to each student after the completion of their degree. Please email RegServices@cwu.edu if you have additional questions.
