Where Is CWU Located?
While Central’s presence can be felt across Washington State, our main campus is in Ellensburg. CWU’s main campus and our seven University Centers around the state deliver a high-quality education built upon excellence and equity to empower students for successful futures. We also offer a broad range of online degree and certificate programs, providing maximum flexibility and accessibility.
If you’re driving to CWU, give yourself plenty of time to get here. We recommend checking the WSDOT website for current road and weather conditions. Be sure to plan for an extra 15 minutes to park and walk to the check-in spot—your visit will start in SURC 139.
How Long Do Campus Visits Last?
The regular campus tours last 60 to 75 minutes.
CWU’s campus is open Monday through Friday. You’re welcome to explore before or after your tour. Feel free to walk through academic buildings and get a closer look at where you might study.
How Can I Find My Way around CWU’s Campus?
To get a better idea of how to navigate our campus, we recommend reviewing our interactive map, which allows you to find parking, explore our buildings and facilities, locate ADA-accessibility points, and more.
