Urinetown
By Mark Hollman & Greg Kotis
In a dystopian city, in the middle of a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year drought, the government has banned private toilets. The citizens must pay to use public amenities, a system controlled by the corrupt "Urine Good Company" (UGC). From the exhausted citizens, a hero emerges. Bobby Strong has had enough and organizes a revolution, fighting back against the oppressive systems so the people can “pee free!”
Urinetown is presented by arrangement with Musical Theatre International.
