Auditions

Admission to Central Washington University's Department of Theatre Arts BFA program is based on talent, academic achievements, commitment to the craft of theatre as a career, and the potential for success in a professional theatre career. No audition is required for admission to the BA Theatre Studies degree.

The BFA programs are considered "Non-Cut Programs with Progressive Evaluation."

Consideration for the 2024-2025 class is open and students portfolios are being reviewed on a rolling basis.

The Acceptd site for applicant online submissions for Musical Theatre and Design and Production will open on November 1st, and students should expect to hear the results of their application within three weeks of submission.

Each BFA program will admit 12-14 students for the next academic year. Late applications will continue to be accepted until all program spaces have been filled.
