Equipment Loan Program Update
The Equipment Loan Program is only available to students majoring in Science and Mathematics Education or the STEM Teaching Program. We are unable to support checkouts to other departments or non-CWU community members..
Policies
- Equipment is available for checkout to Teach STEM Equipment Checkout Members. Non-members must complete the Equipment Checkout Membership Form before checking out equipment.
- Equipment is checked out for a limited time. Fees and holds will be charged for late, damaged, or non-returned equipment.
- Replacement costs for used consumables, late-returned or non-returned equipment, missing or stolen items, or repair costs for broken items will be charged to the borrower.
- The Borrower will use checked-out equipment for its intended purpose. The borrower will not use the equipment for unlawful purposes.
Procedures
Equipment Requests
To make an equipment request fill out the Equipment Request Form. Make sure to leave detailed information for your requests such as what equipment you are requesting and quantity.
Please allow 48 hours for us to prepare your equipment. Same day requests may not be possible.
You will receive an email if we have any questions about your request. You will receive an email you when your request is ready and you may pick up your equipment in Discovery 301 on the table next to the front desk.
Equipment Returns
Return equipment to the table next to front desk in DISC301.
Equipment will be inspected equipment within 48 hours of return and will contact you if they have questions.
Equipment checked out through the Teach STEM Equipment Loan Program is expected to be returned on time and in the same condition in which it was provided. Fees will be charged if equipment is damaged, returned late or not returned.
