IACUC
Meetings Dates
The Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) meets monthly to review research applications. Please submit your application by the submission dates below to allow a two week review period for the IACUC.
Note: The IACUC does not meet during the summer months of July, August, and September.
CWU IACUC meetings are considered to be closed meetings; however, one can request to attend an IACUC meeting by contacting the IACUC administrator and chair at iacuc@cwu.edu. Requests for attendance must be submitted at least 1 week before a scheduled IACUC
meeting (see below for the meeting schedule).
If requested, the committee will allow for public comments at the beginning of the meeting. The public comment period will be subject to the following rules:
- Individuals must request a public comment at the time of their attendance request,
at least 1 week before a scheduled meeting, by emailing the IACUC administrator
and chair at iacuc@cwu.edu - Individuals must notify the IACUC administrator and chair of the topic of their public
comment. - Public comments will be limited to three minutes per speaker.
- If there are multiple requests for public comments, the order of speakers will be
determined by first-come, first-served. - Disruptive, inappropriate, or profane language or behavior may result in shortened
speaking time or dismissal from the meeting
