Community Clinic
Counseling Services Available for Youth
Free counseling services for children and adolescents ages 6-17 who live in Kittitas County are being offered in our community clinic. Services include individual therapy, group therapy and/or family therapy services.
Individuals and families seeking mental health services will be offered appointments with a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at any time of year. Beginning in January counseling sessions with graduate students in the school psychology program will also be available under the supervision of the Community Clinic Director and faculty.
Number of sessions will depend on the needs of the individual. Appropriate referrals include children and adolescents ages 6-17 experiencing social-emotional difficulties (such as depression, trauma, school refusal, anxiety, social skills deficits, and adjustment difficulties).
Referrals for services will be reviewed. If the individual being referred requests specialized treatment not currently provided within the Community Clinic (EMDR, specialized eating disorder treatment, Substance Use Disorder Treatment), another community referral can be provided. Clinic activities are supported by CWU and are being funded through partnerships with Comprehensive Healthcare and a Kittitas County grant (1/10th of 1% funding).
Call CCPAC at 509-963-2501 for more information and to request services.
