Declaring Minor

Prospective Minors

If you would like more information about minoring in philosophy, comparative religion, or philosophy political science, and economics (PPE), please contact the Department Chair, Dr. Matt Altman.

Ready to Declare the Minor

There are two ways you can declare your minor:

  1. Set up an appointment with an advisor you've had a class with or one whose area of specialization is closest to your interests. Visit our Faculty and Staff page to see our available advisors. At this appointment you'll complete a simple major application form and review coursework required for the major.  Your advisor can also discuss skills acquired in the major, career opportunities as well as answer any questions you may have.
  2. Alternatively, you can log into your MyCWU account and declare it through your student dashboard
