Advising Sheets

IT Management Advising Sheets

Please review your specific program for course offerings by quarter. Keep in mind some courses have prerequisites. These can be identified on the MyCWU system. As you review the quarterly offerings in your program of study, ponder your personal objectives for CWU. For example, ask yourself:

  • How many credits/classes do I want to take each quarter?
  • How many credits/classes can I handle while holding job, etc.?
  • When do I want to be done with my program?
  • Have I scheduled RMT379 IT Management Career Planning early in my course of study so that I'm ready if the perfect internship comes along?
  • Will I also complete a minor?

There may be other factors impacting your plan for completing the IT Management program. The goal of the advising sheet is to help you prepare a logical and reasonable program based on your personal objectives. Remember that some specializations have a specific course sequence and your Skywriter advisor can help you build a plan.

Note that IT Management does offer summer courses. Please check with the department for summer course offerings. If you have already taken some IT Management courses, to date, indicate those as “done” on the worksheet. Finally, bring your completed advising sheet and Academic Requirements Report with you when meeting with your IT Management advisor.
