- From the American Hotel and Lodging Association, the US hotel industry contributes tens of billions in wage income and generates hundreds of billions in guest spending annually.
- From the Journal of the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, the industry is recovering rapidly. In 2023, the real output of travel and tourism grew by 7.0%, bringing it back to pre-pandemic levels.
