Welcome to the Department of History

In the Department of History, we believe that studying history is not just about learning facts and figures, but about gaining a deeper understanding of past human experience and its impact on our world today.

In our classes, you will engage in opportunities that broaden your perspectives and enhance your critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills. History helps us understand the past and how it has shaped the present. It provides a framework for understanding the origins of current social, political, cultural, and economic systems and how they have evolved over time.
