Accelerated Path to Your Degree
- Eligibility: Designed for currently certified paramedics who have completed their education at accredited institutions. Applicants must hold a valid paramedic certification and have fulfilled CWU's General Education requirements.
- Degree Completion: To graduate with a Bachelor of Science in EMS Paramedicine, students must complete a total of 105 credits within the major. This includes the awarded experiential learning credits and the online coursework.
- Program Delivery: All courses are conducted online, providing flexibility for practicing paramedics. Students should ensure they have reliable internet access and are comfortable with distance learning platforms.
- General Education Requirements: Ensure completion of CWU's General Education requirements, either through prior coursework, an appropriate associate degree for transfer, or by completing necessary courses at CWU.
Certified paramedics receive 45 degree credits automatically for their existing accredited certifications. This means you're already halfway to earning your bachelor's degree!
