Highlights

Math Honors Program

The CWU Mathematics Department’s Honors Program is designed to deepen the experience of mathematics undergraduates, introducing students to the world of mathematics beyond the classroom. Students participate in quarterly seminars, regular community service, and undergraduate scholarships.

Mount Stuart Mathematics Seminars

These seminars run several times a quarter and are open to all. We explore applications of mathematics such as the biophysics of neuroscience and the mathematics behind encrypting data. We explore topics not normally taught in our undergraduate program, like knot theory.
