In the Applied Linguistics Specialization, you will explore the Spanish language—its structure, use, and impact in different societal contexts.
Through engaging classes, dive into sociolinguistic theory, conduct sociolinguistic research, and gain hands-on experience with interviews, transcriptions, and the creation of a linguistic corpus of Spanish spoken in Central Washington (CECWA).
