Ethics Lab

Welcome to the EthicsLab

The EthicsLab at CWU seeks to promote critical thinking, cultivate ethical leadership, and facilitate multidisciplinary dialog focused on pressing moral problems.

We pursue this through public panels and discussions, interactive workshops and activities, and an ongoing externship program.

The EthicsLab is an innovative, public-facing ethics initiative created with seed funding from an NEH grant received by the CWU College of Arts and Humanities and the University Libraries.

EthicsLab Mission

The EthicsLab aims to empower ethically minded individuals by:

  • Promoting critical thinking, ethical reflection, and intellectual virtue on campus and in the community
  • Cultivating ethical leadership, serving as a collaborative space for practical ethics and education
  • Facilitating engaged multidisciplinary discourse on moral problems through public humanities programs
