About EET
Program Mission
The Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) Program strives to ensure that graduates have the competence, skill, and expertise to develop practical designs and modifications for the implementation, operation, and production of complex systems to meet the ongoing needs of private and public industries.
What's the difference between EET and EE?
The addition of the term "technology" to EE programs essentially means that EET students take fewer upper division math courses and focus more on hands-on applications less commonly found in EE programs. By no means does this make one version better than the other, they're just structured slightly different. Graduates from both EE and EET programs have successful careers in the engineering disciplines.
