Is this a full-time or part-time program?
The MBA program can be completed either full-time or part-time. Students may complete the general MBA at an accelerated pace in as few as four quarters (12 months). The MBA with specialization can take a longer time (13-24 months), depending on each program’s requirements.

Is this an online program?
The MBA program offers flexible online and hybrid modalities with in-person networking opportunities. Classes are typically delivered through a combination of live (synchronous) scheduled sessions and non-live (asynchronous) online modules. Live class sessions are held through Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, or other similar video conferencing tools. Executive skill building and orientation will be offered in person.

What are the admission requirements?
What are the admission requirements and required application documents?
To be eligible for admission, applicants must meet the following requirements and submit the necessary documents:
Admission Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution in the U.S., or an equivalent degree from an internationally recognized institution.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in the most recent 90 quarter (or 60 semester) credits of graded coursework.
- Applicants with a GPA below 3.0 may still be considered for admission following an interview. Please contact the MBA Program Director for guidance on next steps.

- Official transcripts from all community colleges, colleges and universities attended.

My undergraduate major is not business. Can I still apply?
Yes, you can apply. The CWU MBA is open to business and non-business undergraduates.

What are the prerequisite courses for admission to the MBA program?
There are no prerequisite courses for admission to the MBA program. If your undergraduate major is not business, a leveling module will be provided for you to complete to help you be successful.

What is the due date for the applications and when can I start?
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. The typical starting date for the MBA program is in the fall or winter quarter. However, you are strongly encouraged to apply as early as you can.

Yes! You can specialize in various fields including:
- Business Analytics (STEM)
- Human Resource Management
- Sport Business
- Cybersecurity Management (STEM)
We also offer a general MBA with a Public Health Track.

I already started a master's degree at another institution. Can I transfer credits?
Subject to the approval of the MBA program director and the CWU School of Graduate Studies and Research, students may transfer up to 9 quarter credits (6 semester credits) into the MBA program provided that all of the following conditions are met
- The credits sought for transfer were graded “B” or higher.
- The credits were taken from an accredited institution offering graduate degrees.
- The credits were taken for classes the content of which is comparable to a core or elective course in the MBA program at CWU.
- The credits were completed no more than six years before you intend to complete the MBA program at CWU.
All courses used toward the MBA, including courses transferred in from other institutions, must have been completed within six years of the date of the graduate degree conferral.

What is the tuition for the Master of Business Administration (MBA)? Are there scholarships available?
Total tuition and fees are estimated at $19,693 for the general MBA (Tentative can change). The MBA with a specialization will have higher tuition. Please contact MBA program Director for more details.
