About Us

The Money Savvy Wildcats program equips CWU students with skills for financial success.

Our staff is made up of faculty, staff, and students who are passionate about the ways in which financial planning can improve lives, and not just in Ellensburg – we believe that equipping students with skills to carry back to their families and communities can make a wide-reaching impact on financial literacy throughout Washington.

Schwaab Foundation LogoSchwab Advisor Services, in partnership with the Charles Schwab Foundation, awarded CWU with a multi-year grant to support program expansion for the Center for Financial Planning and Well-Being (CFPW). The CFPW helps prepare the next generation of financial planning advisors while improving the financial well-being of individuals and families across Washington state and the Pacific Northwest.
