Alumni and Donors

You may have turned your tassel, but your relationship with the College of Business has just begun.

Whether it’s been a day, a few years, or a couple of decades since your graduation, the College of Business is committed to cultivating a Wildcat community for all our alumni.

Looking for opportunities to get involved?

More than anything, alumni request opportunities to engage with current students. Whether it’s through mentorship, on-campus visits to classrooms and clubs, or professional development opportunities, we have many options to connect you with students eager to learn from your professional experience.

Alumni Mentor Program

The CB Alumni Mentor Program connects students with alumni who are successful in their professional fields and willing to share their expertise. Mentors coach their mentees by guiding career path exploration, encouraging new experiences, providing feedback, and supporting the development of pertinent skills. Visit the Wildcat Career Network website to apply to be a mentor!

Campus Visits

Would you like to return to an Econ 101 class to discuss current stock market trends? Maybe visit Brooks Library to reminisce about what finals week felt like? Or how about speaking to one of our student clubs, like Women in Business or the Association of Latino Professionals for America? Contact Alumni Relations Coordinator Haley Rinehart at Haley.Rinehart@cwu.edu or 509-963-1038.

Annual Events

With so many professional development events offered to CB students, we’re always looking for alumni panelists! Our annual events include:

Professional Development

Interested in helping students with mock interviews, resumes, cover letters, or other professional development opportunities? Contact Career Counselor Jay Pfieffer at Jason.Pfieffer@cwu.edu or 509-963-1908.

Tell us your story…

Just as our alumni are eager to develop relationships with current students, so are our current students eager to learn from the achievements and advice of our alumni! Fill out our quick questionnaire about your time at Central and you could be featured on our website or in VOYAGE, our annual alumni magazine.

…and we’ll tell you ours!

The best way to keep informed about current CB activities and advancements is through our various publications.

Support the College of Business

Dean Stinson recently created an exciting and expansive new initiative—to triple the amount of scholarship support we offer students within the next five years. This ambitious goal is achievable, but only with alumni support. Your philanthropic partnerships allow us to excel at our mission of launching students towards a better future. The University Advancement team is here to answer any questions about how you can support the College of Business at (509) 963-2160 or foundation@cwu.edu.
