Dual Degree Program
If admitted to the dual-degree program, you may begin graduate-level study in Child Development and Family Science in your last year of undergraduate studies. Completion of the dual-degree program allows for double-counting 12 credits of CDFS courses, allowing for completion of the graduate program in one year following undergraduate graduation.
Benefits of the Dual Degree Program
- Double count 12 credits of your undergraduate Child Development and Family Science coursework
- Finish the master's program a quarter sooner
- Pay undergraduate tuition for 12 credits of graduate-level courses
- Guaranteed admittance to the master's program (if you meet the eligibility criteria below)
- Graduate program application fee is waived
Eligibility Criteria for Automatic Graduate Admission
- Earn A- or better in graduate-level dual degree courses
- Cumulative undergraduate gpa of 3.2 or higher
How to Apply
Submit the Dual Degree application during Fall quarter of your senior year to start taking graduate-level courses in Winter.
