Get Involved on Campus
Environmental Club
The Environmental Club brings students together to enjoy the outdoors, connect with others, and make a difference at CWU. Join them for group hikes, stream cleanups, craft nights, and other activities that make getting involved in sustainability fun and social.
Volunteer at the Wildcat Farm
Get your hands dirty at Wildcat Farm through volunteer opportunities and Gather & Grow events. Help grow food, care for the farm, and learn about sustainable agriculture alongside other students.
Attend Sustainability Events

Leadership Opportunities
Looking for a way to have a voice in sustainability at CWU? Students can:
- Serve as a student representative on the CWU Sustainability Council or the CWU Council on Investor Responsibility
- Apply to serve as the ASCWU Senator for Sustainability
- Take on a leadership role in one of CWU's many clubs focused on sustainability
- Apply to be a Sustainability Ambassador
- Apply to be a student worker at the Wildcat Farm
Sustainability Minor or Certificate
You don't have to major in sustainability to make it part of your educational experience. CWU’s Sustainability Minor or Certificate offers students from any academic path an opportunity to develop experiential, service-learning projects that focus on improving sustainability needs of the university or a community partner.

Campus Resources
Archive of Sustainability and Climate Change Documents
The Libraries recently purchased a major digital archive of sustainability and climate change documents. Climate Science and Sustainability: Global Origins of Modern Environmentalism is a searchable digitized collection of primary source documents related to climate science. It chronicles scientific advances and activism form 1957-1995 including tens of thousands of journal articles, government publications, newspapers, magazines, and transcribed television and radio broadcasts. The archive is available to any CWU student, faculty, or staff member.
