Web Accessibility Assessment

Why is Accessibility Important

At Central Washington University, we are committed to making digital content and technology accessible to everyone. That means our websites, documents, multimedia, and online tools are designed so that all members of our community—students, faculty, staff, and visitors—can access, understand, and use them with confidence and ease.

Digital accessibility isn’t just a policy—it’s part of how we support access and opportunity for every learner and employee.

Your Role and Responsibility

Digital accessibility is a shared responsibility at CWU. If you create or publish digital materials—such as webpages, emails, documents, videos, or course materials—you play a role in making content accessible.

Following accessibility principles supports a welcoming and inclusive environment.
