CWU Green Printing with Wēpa Print Away
The Wēpa print system is the CWU printing solution for student computing. Printer kiosks are located in many campus academic buildings along with the SURC and Library.
The best feature to this system is that students are able to print to the Wēpa Printer App from anywhere and from any device. CWU enrolled students will receive a $15 quarterly allocation that is only charged when the print job is released at the kiosk.
Wēpa is convenient
Students want to print from their own devices where they already work and live. Wēpa allows students to release their prints at ANY of the campus-wide kiosks eliminating the need to wait in long lines at limited public print areas. Students log in to the kiosks with their CWU credentials either manually on the touchscreen, by swiping their CWU connection card and entering a self-created 6-digit pin, or by the Wepa mobile app on phones that have NFC.
Wēpa is Ecological
Wēpa partners with PrintReleaf to reforest trees to achieve a paper neutral footprint. Schools that have installed Wēpa kiosks have reported up to an 86% reduction of waste.
