The Washington State Department of Transportation is reporting scattered clouds over I-90. The roadway is bare and dry, wet in places. There are no restrictions on travel in either direction over Snoqualmie Pass.

On I-82, WSDOT reports it is overcast. The roadway is bare and wet, snow and slush in places. There are no restrictions on travel in either direction over Manastash Ridge.

A National Weather Service issued Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect through 4:00 a.m. Wednesday. The advisory is in conjunction with a forecast for a prolonged snow event expected to impact the Kittitas Valley, Yakima Valley, Lower Columbia Basin of Washington, and foothills of the Blue Mountains of Washington, including the cities of Ellensburg, Thorp, Naches, Sunnyside, Toppenish, Yakima, Connell, Prosser, Tri-Cities, Dayton, Waitsburg, and Walla Walla. The latest forecast is for additional snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches tomorrow (Monday, 2-25-19).

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. NWS reports travel could be very difficult and the hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
