Space “Stuff” Focus of October 25 Star Party

  • October 24, 2016

According to NASA, more than 500,000 pieces “space junk” currently orbits the Earth. What happens to all that stuff? And how does it affect current missions like the International Space Station?

Space “Stuff” is the topic of CWU’s monthly Star Party, which will take place at 8:00 p.m., October 25 in the new Science II planetarium, room 101.

“The Star Parties are free to the public and are a great way for people to learn about astronomy,” said Jeff Carter, president, CWU Astronomy Club.

Parking at CWU lots is free after 4:30 p.m.
