Racial justice speaker at CWU

In a social climate where the subject of racial justice is prevalent, Michael Eric Dyson passionately shares his insight as he engages audiences across the nation. Dyson has made numerous television appearances, written over a dozen books and at 7 p.m., Feb. 16, he will speak at Central Washington University about racial equality. This free, public event will take place in the McIntyre Music Building Concert Hall. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Born and raised in Michigan, Dyson worked hard from an early age, becoming a Baptist minister at 19 and eventually graduating from Princeton with a Ph.D. He currently works at Georgetown University as a sociology professor, writes and attends speaking events.
