The CWU President's Diversity Awards are coming up soon and we still need nominations from the campus community. If you know someone who is making significant contributions to advance equity and belonging on campus or within our broader community, please submit a nomination online by 3 p.m. Friday, February 3.

The ninth annual President's Diversity Awards are scheduled for March 2, and nominations will be accepted through Friday, February 3.
The ninth annual event - scheduled for March 2 at 5 p.m. in the SURC Ballroom - provides an important opportunity for us to recognize the accomplishments we are making in our journey, and to honor members of the CWU community who are leading and modeling this approach.
Award winners will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Works in partnership across and within the campus and/or community to promote equity, belonging, diversity, and inclusion through social justice activities, events, and programs.
- Collaborates across and within the campus and/or community to take action to support equitable, diverse, and inclusive environments in the region.
- Demonstrated sustained commitment across time that is integrated into everyday decisions and actions that values equity, belonging, and diversity.
We also encourage you to nominate someone for a Bobby Cummings Lifetime Achievement Award to recognize an individual who has worked on diversity, equity, and inclusion issues throughout their careers. You may submit a letter of support to accompany the nomination, and they can be submitted in the nomination form or sent to Sarah Scott at sarah.scott@cwu.edu.
When you have a chance, please RSVP to the ninth annual President's Diversity Awards ceremony on Wildcat Tickets. In the meantime, we ask that you nominate a friend or colleague for recognition at this important event for our university. Thank you for your participation.
