CWU Trustees to Meet in Ellensburg on May 18-19, 2023

The Central Washington University Board of Trustees will hold its quarterly meeting May 18-19, 2023, in Ellensburg. The meeting is open to the public.
On Thursday, May 18, the board will convene at 10 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) at the Wellington Event Center for an executive session, as allowed under RCW 42.30.110 (1)(i). The executive session is expected to last approximately 30 minutes, and the business meeting will begin immediately afterward.
Among the first items on the agenda will be an opportunity for public comment. Rules pertaining to the public comment period are available at cwu.edu/trustees. To participate in the public comment period, speakers must identify themselves and the topic to be addressed via email to cwu.president@cwu.edu by Tuesday, May 16, at 5 p.m. PDT.
At approximately noon PDT, the board and executive leadership team will break for lunch; no business will be conducted.
The board will return to Wellington Event Center at approximately 1:15 p.m. PDT and will meet until approximately 3:45 p.m. PDT. Trustees and executive leadership team members will then attend the SOURCE Closing Reception and Awards; no business will be conducted. Board members will attend a social dinner at approximately 6:30 p.m. PDT; no business will be conducted.
On Friday, May 19, the regular business meeting will convene at approximately 9 a.m. PDT at Wellington Event Center.
