CWU President’s Holiday Gift Project Needs Sponsors

Central Washington University is hoping to deliver some joy to children in our community this holiday season with the President's Holiday Gift Project.

The CWU President's Holiday Gift Project still needs about 50 sponsors to provide gifts to local children in need this holiday season.
About 50 kids are still in need of sponsors, and the CWU Office of the President needs help from the campus community to accomplish our goal of bringing an extra bundle of cheer to local kids who need a helping hand.
The annual giving initiative offers CWU staff and faculty a chance to make a heartfelt and personal gesture to local children in need by providing them with a gift (or gifts) from their wish lists.
"There's a lot of need in the community," project organizer Sarah Scott said, adding that this year's Holiday Gift Project will support more than 200 children. "It's really important that CWU keeps it going."
If you would like to sponsor a child, please drop off your gifts at the President's Office (Barge Hall, room 314) by Friday, December 2. Because some requests are "needs" as much as "wants," participants are urged to choose both a practical gift and a fun one (no monetary donations please).
The Holiday Gift Project supports Seedlings of Kittitas County, CWU's Early Childhood Learning Center, and the Washington Department of Youth, Children, and Families.
