CWU Faculty, Staff Encouraged to ‘Pack the Pantry’ This Month

It's February, and the Wildcat Pantry needs our help!

The CWU community is encouraged to help Pack the Pantry this month with food, household supplies, clothing, and more.
All month long, CWU's student-run food relief organization, PUSH, will be looking to Pack the Pantry with non-perishable food, clothing, household goods, hygiene products, and other essentials for CWU community members who need a boost this winter and beyond.
CWU faculty and staff are encouraged to contribute whatever you can during the month of February to support the Wildcat Pantry, which has served nearly 400 individuals since it was introduced last October.
Donated items can be dropped off at the ASCWU Office (SURC 236), Black Hall 101, or at the Wildcat Pantry office in Brooks Library room 101C. Cash donations are also being accepted on the PUSH webpage (click on "Give to PUSH" and type "For Wildcat Pantry").
The CWU campus chapter of PUSH - Presidents United to Solve Hunger - manages a food pantry, an emergency meal fund, and provides volunteer opportunities and community engagement events surrounding food justice. Contributions are needed throughout the year to support the organization, and this month's food drive is just the beginning of a sustained effort.
To learn more about the program, distribution hours, and other important information, visit the Campus Resources page. You may also email the Wildcat Pantry or student President Jaeda Nelson.
