CWU, U.S. Bank now offering affinity College Visa debit card


Central Washington University supporters can now share their school pride with the new affinity College Visa debit card from U.S. Bank. The card launched on November 10 and features the campus’ iconic Barge Hall.

Central Washington University features a U.S. Bank branch inside the Student Union & Recreation Center (SURC) at 400 E. University Way.

“CWU’s partnership with U.S. Bank offers convenient banking services for our students, faculty, and staff, and we are pleased to enhance this longstanding relationship,” said SURC Director Cherie Wilson. “We know the entire CWU community will enjoy seeing Barge Hall, the first building built on the Ellensburg campus, on their new affinity Visa debit card.”

This is the bank’s first Visa affinity debit card design with Central Washington University. The Central Washington University affinity College Visa® debit card is the ninth in the program, which started in 2020. So far, more than 87,000 clients have chosen to show their school pride right on their debit card.

The new cards can be ordered through usbank.com, by using the award-winning U.S. Bank Mobile App, or when visiting a local branch.
