CWU Summer

Withdrawal and Refund Policies

Policies

The Office of Continuing Education adheres to CWU policies (unless otherwise noted) for academic credit programs offered by our office. CWU policies are consistent with Washington State law.

Student Financial Obligations

Please refer to university policies found here: 2012-2013 Student Registration Handbook.

Waivers

All courses taught through Continuing Education are self-support. The waiver for veterans, university staff, and senior citizens does not apply.

This university policy can be found here: 2012-2013 Student Registration Handbook.

Withdrawals

Non-attendance does not constitute a withdrawal. Official withdrawal procedures must be followed.

Please refer to university policies found here: 2012-2013 Student Registration Handbook.

Note:
An approved hardship withdrawal does not automatically approve a refund. A separate written petition with reasons requesting a refund should be submitted with the hardship withdrawal form.

Refunds

Please refer the university policies found here: 2012-2013 Student Registration Handbook.

Requests for registration cancelation/course withdrawal and tuition and fees refund must be submitted in writing to the Registrar. Official withdrawal procedures must be followed. Non-attendance does not constitute a withdrawal.

Note:
Tuition and fees may be refunded to students unable to complete coursework as a result of being called to active duty in the Armed Forces of the United States.
