CWU Information Services recommends the use of Windows Defender as antivirus software for your personal and home Windows computers for Windows 10 or newer.
Note: Windows Defender is intergrated into the Windows Settings menu. Alternatively, older Windows Operating Systems such as Windows 7 use Security Essentials and is available as a free download from Microsoft's website.
If you have a Mac OSX, we recommend the use of Malwarebytes anti-virus. To install this program scroll down until you can see the "Personal Device Protection" heading and click the "Donwload Now" button.
Note: You should only have one antivirus program on your computer at any given time.
