C. Farrell Fine Arts & Research Scholarship


The C. Farrell Scholarship is given to honor the memory of Dr. and Mrs. SM. Farrell and Dennis Farrell of Ellensburg, WA.

  • Full time CWU undergraduate student
  • Sophomore, junior, or senior class standing
  • Cumulative 3.00 GPA
  • Be pursuing a fine arts project in Art, Music, Theatre, Creative Writing, Dance, or Film & Video Studies OR
  • Be pursuing a research project pertaining to the History, Geology, or Archaeology of the Kittitas Valley

Sign this student and faculty sponsor award agreement.

To help you compile a project budget, you are free to use this budget template.

NOTE: The Farrell Committee strongly encourages applicants to seek out other funding sources for their projects. One excellent resource is the Office of Undergraduate Research, which can provide travel and research grants.

Submit materials and letters of recommendation to the Scholarship Office by the following deadlines:

2019/20 Deadlines

Winter 2020:  November 27, 2019
Spring 2020:  March 6, 2020
Summer 2020, Fall 2020, or the 2020-2021 academic year:  May 29, 2020
