President's Corner By Becky Baker

I don't know about you, but I find the winter evenings much too long and the daylight far too short. I'd like to thank the faithful Wildcat Walkers, who have braved the chilly temperatures to enjoy a great walk, conversation, coffee, and wonderful treats. As winter settles in, we will continue to meet on the first and third Mondays at 9:00 a.m. at the Irene Rinehart bridge parking lot. Should it snow, we will meet at the Campus Starbucks and go from there. Come join us!

My main objective this year is to raise awareness of CWURA to the active and retired staff of CWU. I am asking for your assistance in reaching fellow retirees and active staff and asking them to join as a member and come out and enjoy one or more of our many events.

As you read the newsletter, you will see that we have a lot going on and we want to continue to grow and be of service to you and the students. On that note, let's hear from you. What would you like us to explore? What would you like as an event?

I look forward to hearing from you and have a wonderful winter season. Come join us on January 31, the Chinese New Year, for a wonderful entertaining tour with Richard (Moose) and Virginia Mack. You know you'll love it!
