CWU's 2014 Teacher Time Study: How WA public school teachers spend their workdays
This is the first study of its kind to reveal how Washington State public K-12 schoolteachers spend their workdays. Directed by the Washington State Legislature to conduct this study, CWU learned how much of the workday teachers spend on teaching related duties and how much on duties not directly related to teaching. The results might surprise you.

Central Washington University—a diverse, student-centered school where we pride ourselves on building the lives of our students through small class sizes, expert faculty, research, and cultural events.

From the moment new students step onto our beautiful Ellensburg campus or one of our centers to when they toss their cap into the air, it is our goal at CWU to ensure they get the best education possible while having a truly remarkable college experience.

To do this, we make students our priority, never losing sight of their reason for being here. Through orientations, awareness programs, and continually attentive guidance, CWU students are given opportunities to thrive, whether it is inside or outside the classroom. Students who graduate from CWU are well-rounded, educated, capable individuals.

I thank you for your interest in CWU and encourage you to continue exploring CWU online or by visiting our Ellensburg campus or one of our centers.

Sincerely,
James L. Gaudino
President
